Jany originally joined Helmholdt+Company in 1994 after a merger with another local firm.  After taking some time off to stay home with her children, she returned to help out with tax seasons in 2005, and then started working at Helmholdt year-round in a part-time capacity as the Accounting Manager in 2024.   As Accounting Manager, she handles the day-to-day accounting and payroll for the firm.

Jany and her husband Doug have three grown children with whom they enjoy traveling and camping.  Jany enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.   She and Doug actively participate in their church, Seymour CRC, where Jany also serves as the bookkeeper.
